About This Pattern: This soft, rainbow baby blanket is easy to make and requires counting stitches and skipping or increasing spaces. The finished rectangle piece is approximately 34 wide x 36 inches in length.

4 - 4.25 ounces Bernat Softee Baby Yarn, Color Baby Baby Ombre
Size G crochet hook
Blunt needle for weaving in ends
ABBREVIATIONS:
ch = chain
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
sp = space
sps - spaces
sl st - slip stitch
sts = stitches
ROW 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook. (first skipped sts equal a hdc). Skip 1 ch. Hdc in next 5 ch, 3 hdc in next ch, hdc in next 5 ch, skip 2 ch. Repeat from to until last 8 sts. In last 8 sts: hdc in next 5 sts, skip 1 ch, hdc in next 2 sts. Ch 2, turn. (ch 2 equals first hdc).
ROW 2 through 100: Working in back loops, Hdc in next st, skip 1 st. Hdc in next 5 ch, 3 hdc in next ch, hdc in next 5 ch, skip 2 ch. Repeat from to until last 8 sts. In last 8 sts: hdc in next 5 sts, skip 1 ch, hdc in next and hdc in 2nd ch of turning ch. Ch 2, turn. (ch 2 equals first hdc).
